Intramurals 2013, a three-day event that brought awesome memories to the Supreme Student Council in good times and in bad times. Imagine these people working together, helped in making this memorable sporting event of the year become part of the history of The College of Maasin. Despite the reproach, restlessness, misery, mountainous exhaustion, sleepless nights of preparation, sickness (almost), it amazes me to discover the hidden manners of the members of the Supreme Student Council. How would you react if somebody tells you “Gwapa jud kaajo si ________, way pag lubad. Malubad pa ang Gold!” Sounds ridiculous right? How about this one “(Nag brownout, nagluto sa rice cooker) Kadugay ba maluto anang bugas uie! Mangaon ta ug hilaw! Nganu man diay!” You will never understand what is “MAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!, weeeeeh hooooo!” but know the story behind it and surely you will laugh at it. Hahahahahaha!!! Until now we would still laugh out loud remembering these silly moments of the organization. To: Nekka, what a good way start (as the president of the SSC). keep on it. Zannedelle, manghod2 still she managed to bring out what’s best of her. Mel joy, she’s our number one comedian unexpectedly; a talent for us came out surprisingly. Imma Rose, best friend of Mel Joy, Don’t worry, everything will be alright (hehehe). Cristine Joy, she’s always in a hurry, but still it’s a good thing. Me (Jake), It took me a while to understand my co-officers—how will I fit myself to them having different philosophies but because of this Intramurals 2013, I knew they were good, not just good but BEST! James, talented guy. He has this ability to make us laugh by his jokes and moves. Ive, hear her laughing and you will too. Honey (SSC Secretary), silent but she was able to make things right in her own way. Kenneth, serious but still he is willing to help. That’s what really matters. And to those SSC officers who were not mentioned… thank you for working hard in making this mission accomplished. To Ma’am Weng, thank you for the unending support and concern. To Mr. Renante Tapayan, thank you for guiding us throughout the event. The College of Maasin Family, thank you for the experience! By the way, BSN 4th year thank you for the help. Everything… the negative vibes, it paid off because we were successful (way mo kontra, hahaha)! PS: When desire and skill work together, expect a masterpiece.
