Intresting facts about About Akron, Ohio: About 13000 Bhutanese have already been resettled in Akron. More and more Bhutanese are moving in Akron, day by day. About 200 of them own homes in Akron area. Most of the Bhutanee living in the area, have no choice but to accept 12-hour shift work. Most of them have travel a least one hour to go to work away from th city limits. Many of them have no choice other than accepting 3rd shift work. Most of the factories are located far away from the city. Akron citys water is not as bad as I was told in the past. However, some residents have complained about the poor quality of drinking water. Almost all of the homes in Akron, are single-family homes. While it is true that many homes are not great-looking from outside but from inside these homes, appear to b just fine. The most intersting fact about Akron, Ohio is that it is very easy to buy a home in Akron, Ohio because many homes are on sale for only about $50,000. Home ren is very low in Akron but people must pay bill for the water, in addition to other utility bills. The school education is not horrible, but it is that great also. Bus service is available for the common people but people have to wait for at least two hours to get on buses. Car parking is allowed only on one side of the streets. Those Bhutanese who own homes are very satisfied and happy because their dream of becoming a Home Owner, or a Land Lord, has become a reality. Grocery stores are located far away from homes and people, especially kids have to walk long distance to buy groceries. I think most of th Bhutanese kids are not happy living in Akron but they have no choie but to live with their parents. Most young ladies, prefer getting married with the approval of their parents and prefer receiving Aasheerbaad (Blessongs) from their parents, instead of running away witht heir boyfriends. Many old Bhutanese resettled in Akron, are extremly unhappy, because they find it very boring to stay home all day doing nothing. Local Bhutanese community leaders need to find ways to add excitement to the lives of their senior citiens, because we all including old people, have a right to live a happy life.
