Intro. I have been writing the Fishing Report for John Curtis - TopicsExpress

Intro. I have been writing the Fishing Report for John Curtis of abc for the local area of Denmark and since this has its own section I thought I would post them up here. They are published every Sat morning with the states report. It is the Saturday morning breakfast program and gets published online as well. (Not sure if it is on hard copy, never asked). abc.net.au/perth/programs/720_saturday_breakfast/ An example of last weeks. - blogs.abc.net.au/wa/2014/08/john-curtis-fishing-report-august-9-2014.html?site=perth&program=720_saturday_breakfast So I will start putting in Denmarks entries here for locals or any interested. Here is this weeks entry submitted now posted in the morning. Well there has not been to much reported into the Tackle Store in Denmark this week with only very patchy weather suitable for fishing off the southern stones. Plenty of Herring and squid still about in the bay and still plenty of Salmon too, though you wont find large schools, just smaller groups. The Snapper in the Wilson are slowly but surely moving closer towards the western opening but there is still some time to go. Depending on the swell and rising water from rains, well see what happens as the inlet is still fairly low. That said there is still good sized Snapper being taken from certain locales within the Wilson. Their has been nice sized King George taken from around the corner of Elephant Rocks and the skippy are still hanging about as well. As the weather starts to turn and warm stay safe and have fun. Tight Lines.
