Introduced the pups to Quail wings in the puppy pen (indoors), last Thursday... All seemed content to lay there and chew on them... except for Yellow Girl... she proceeded to carry the wings around like prized possessions! This translated to similar activity outdoors, yesterday and today... several pups were keen on the live Quail... however, Yellow girl was the only one who decided that she should transport the Quail to another area of the play pen.... We took her out of the pen tonight, (to get away from her siblings) and though she had a little trouble following a short throw to a landing spot, she found the bird anyways... The Quail are not harmed by the puppies, during this training. As a matter of fact, they are rougher on themselves, as they pick on each other in the bird pen...
