Durendal LLC designs and manufactures high quality life saving equipment to be used by our Armed Forces, Police Departments and by the general public. Currently, Durendal LLC is launching the TAC-BALL, a state of the art distraction device that utilizes a combination of high powered CREE LED lights and intense sound to distract and confuse hostile forces. The uses for this ground breaking system are countless from combat room clearing, chemical plant protection to school and residential safety and other civilian protection. Made out of two hard aluminum shells with two tough high impact resistant lenses the TACT-BALL is water resistant, rechargeable and re-usable. The TAC-BALL is powered by two CREE LED lights, each located on either side and emitting 1,040 Lumens and by a speaker emitting over 110 decibel, 1,000 Hz sound (1 m). Because the TAC-BALL does not use combustion or explosive events to generate illumination and sound effects, it can be safely used in any enclosed environments to create effective distraction regardless possible presence of flammable or combustive gasses/chemicals, thus, eliminating the risks of causing damaging and costly explosions. The TAC-BALL diverts attention for few seconds in order to gain the tactical advantage of controlling the situation and leaves opposing forces confused in its wake. The combination of high sound level and high intensity lights creates a disorienting effect aimed at distracting targeted forces in enclosed environments. The TAC-BALL is also available without speaker (TAC-BALL-Light) and with IR lights instead of CREE lights with speaker (TAC-BALL-IR).
