Introducing LUCKY ZAVERI. Hes the one with the orange bandanna making friends with the other dogs and the people in the doggie park earlier today when he and I went to a nonprofit doggie event in Manhattan at pier 39. His history: 10/13/13 born at a cockapoo breeders farm. 12/16/13 purchased by an elderly woman at a puppy store in Toronto, named him Charlie but she could not take care of him after a few months so my friend Sameer Mohan adopted him from her in August 2014 when he was visiting his brother in Toronto, neighbor of the elderly woman. While living with the Mohan family, the cleaning lady accidentally left the door open and he ran into the street, was run over by a car, his belly and rear paws cut by the muffler. Taken by the Mohans to the animal hospital, the vet said he was LUCKY to not have any internal organs damaged. Stiched up and recovered over the next month, the Mohans changed their mind about having a dog. Sameer asked me if I knew someone who could adopt. On 9/24/14, I brought him home and changed his name to LUCKY as the vet had said for surviving the accident. His 1st birthday will be on 10/13/14. Welcome LUCKY! :)
