Introducing our most recent guests, Oscar, Matilda and Charlie :) All three of these littlies have had their hoof-care severely neglected for some time – years, it would appear :/ Before travelling to our Shelter these little ones were all given a good trim by our Farrier, however, they all have months of remedial trimming ahead of them before their little hooves are even remotely as they should be. They are extremely friendly little characters, despite the pain and discomfort that they’re obviously experiencing. Straight over for attention and cuddles, but they do spend a fair amount of time lying down in order to relieve the pain they experience when standing on their feet. We would like to thank the previous owner of the ponies for recognising that she was not in a position to provide the care and maintenance that the ponies need, and also for heeding a recommendation, made by a third party, that it would be in the ponies best interests to surrender them into appropriate care. Were looking forward to sharing these little munchkins journeys back to good health with you all, and cant wait to see them all pain-free.
