Investigation after investigation has found that the same banks that came crawling to the taxpayer, hat in hand, have been systematically ripping us off for years, even after we saved their bacon. The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, while not a perfect law, has been forcing the Big Banks to behave at least a little and they hate it with the fire of a thousand burning suns (why do you think the GOP is trying so hard to gut it?)
