Invitation Top Banner New Orleans C.A.R.E. Clinic - Communities Are Responding Everyday We wanted to take a moment to remind you about the upcoming New Orleans C.A.R.E. Clinic on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. In just 3 weeks the convention center floor will be converted into a massive free health clinic that will give people hope. It will allow those who have gone for so long without medical care to get the help they need, as well as to be connected to resources available to them in their area for future care. Volunteering at this event is an incredible experience, we hope that you will join us. Please register today, and help spread the word by sharing this invitation! Volunteers, both medical and non-medical, are needed to take part in a free health care event for the uninsured at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The New Orleans C.A.R.E. Clinic will provide free medical care to the NOLA area’s uninsured and will connect them to local available resources. Similar clinics have been held in Houston, New Orleans (3x), Little Rock, Kansas City, Hartford, Atlanta, Washington DC, Charlotte, Tacoma and Dallas serving in total more than 15,000 uninsured people. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up on July 1st and 2nd, and for the clinic on Wednesday, July 3rd.
