Invitation for Bids (IFB) Water and Sewerage Company IFB-MCA-2014/15-WASCO-01 Re-advertisement 1.Water and Sewerage Company invites sealed bids from Contractors registered and based in Lesotho to carry out the following work in the urban and peri-urban areas of Maseru: • interconnections of newly constructed transmission mains into the existing in Maseru; • construction of isolation, air release and scour valves where necessary; • replacement of old asbestos/cement (A/C) pipes with new uPVC pipes of varying diameters within the existing reticulation network. 2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain Bidding Documents from Tuesday 5th August, 2014 at the Procurement office, WASCO Headquarters in Maseru, upon proof of purchasing. 3.A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on payment of a non refundable fee of M300.00 (Three Hundred Maloti) net of all bank charges. The method of payment will be cash or bank guaranteed cheque, payable at WASCO Headquarters, Cashiers Department. 4. All bidders must accompany their bids with a Bid Security of M5, 000.00 Maloti (Five Thousand Maloti) in a form of a bank guaranteed cheque payable to WASCO. 5. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit for all bidders will be held on Friday 8th August, 2014 in Maseru urban and peri-urban areas at 10:00 hrs. All Bidders are expected to be assembled at WASCO Headquarters on the same date at 9:30 hrs. 6.
