Invitation to Apply 73308BR/ Access Control Officer (Security Guard) mantech/careers ManTech is seeking skilled personnel for immediate vacancies TS/SCI clearance required Work to be performed in White Sands N.M./ Eligible as a TDY assignment Performs routine patrol and operational observation of a designated facility. Verifies entry credentials and monitors access control points. Reports all violations and maintains a 1594 log with expected entries. Must be able to carry up to 15lbs for extended times and cannot have limitations in walking distances over .5 miles. Primary duties involve physically manning guard posts at assigned locations, conducting area security checks, and controlling access to designated areas. Deal with public in an effective and congenial manner while adhering to policy and regulations. In process visitors, issue badges, verify paperwork, and inspect incoming and outgoing materials, equipment. Conduct security checks via foot patrol, and vehicle. Process paperwork, to include reports, schedules and pass down instructions. Maintain a security log, visitors log, prepare, and file reports, transcribe written material on a word processor, maintain security related equipment in an acceptable state of readiness and ensure and maintain guard shack area in a clean and presentable manner.
