Invite from our local NYPD Security services: Dear Parkhurst Resident, Last month we invited you to attend a very interesting talk at Parkhurst Primary School, on “crime in Parkhurst.” The talk was divided into 3 areas – and a presentation done on each area for 10 to 15 minutes: The three areas were as follows: 1. Visible Policing/ 2. The Criminal Justice System (CJS)/ and 3. “The Butterfly Effect.” At the end of the presentation Pam Golding did a survey, to find out which areas were of greatest interest to the audience present. As such we have established that while there is interest in both Visible Policing and the CJS, it has now become clear (after further surveys) that there is an overwhelming interest in the topic/ subject of the “Butterfly Effect.” – To note: of those surveyed - 88% were very keen to know more about the Butterfly Effect! Date: 6 November 2013 Place: Parkhurst Primary School of Rock Time: Evening - exact time will be shared closer to the event. Parkhurst residents only. Greg Margolis (M.D and founder of NYPD) will give a brief presentation on Visible Policing and the CJS; but the bulk of the evening will be centered on presenting and discussing the “Butterfly Effect.”
