Inviting you to sign this petition calling for respect for indigenous Fijian culture. It is directed at a prominent American fashion designer who is currently selling a line of dresses featuring traditional Fijian barkcloth prints - designs which she is advertising as "Aztec" and "African"! To many around here, this feels like just another neo-colonial example of (arrogant? / ignorant?) cultural exploitation...
