Iowas fall 101-mile gravel road ride is gaining momentum! Were thrilled to announce several things all at once. 1. James from Spokiz glasses will be hosting an aid station, filled with delicious Clif products, getting us through the final 20 miles or so! Thank you Spokiz and thank you Clif! 2. Raccoon River Valley Bicycle Co. has joined us as a sponsor! Theyll be providing some pre-ride air and have your last-minute items available for purchase. If you forget your patch kit, CO2 or a tube, theyve got you covered! 3. LaPoste will be hosting our post-ride party in downtown Perry on Saturday night! Live music, beer and wine will be flowing in the newly renovated Cellar. This is a super-cool space and we are among the first to use this unique spot. While we want you to ride the 101, youll want to come to the post-ride shindig, no matter what!! 4. BikeArt Show - held in conjunction with the post-ride party, several Iowa artists will be showing their best BikeArt in a variety of mediums - photography, print, paint, sculpture, jewelry and even short film!!! Jeff Corcoran, Kari Anderson, Ken Sherman, Steve Fry, Kim Hopkins, Betsy Peterson are among the artists attending. I may even have a print or two!
