Ira Agricola, Executive VP of Government Affairs of the Chamber is at the General Assembly playing a big role in getting legislation approved. Here is what is happening this morning in #RVA! 1. The Chamber staff participated in this mornings Eggs and Issues breakfast at the Jefferson Hotel. The event was hosted by the Wason Center at Christopher Newport University and it featured Senator Dick Saslaw and Delegate Chris Jones. Results of a recent survey of Virginia voters was presented by Dr. Kidd of CNU. 2. Senator Saslaw discusses key issues like term limits ethics reform tax structure and education funding. 3. Delegate Chris Jones discussed the results of a survey that his offices conducted. He cited the favorable opinion of the bonding agencies and said that he favored a system of no gifts. The Delegate also predicted an on schedule adjournment. 4. And, last but not least, here is the Capital this morning covered in snow!
