Iranian President Hassan Rouhani tells me his government is authorized by supreme leader to negotiate with the U.S. on the nuclear and regional issues. He says he accepts the Holocaust -- was a great crime against Jews by the Nazis. Condemns that and all genocides. Says Iran ready to take serious confidence-building steps toward U.S. but says it is a two-way street. President Rouhani tells me he didnt meet with President Obama at UN because not enough time or prep. But wants to pursue serious negotiations. President Rouhani tells me in English I would like to say to American people: I bring peace and friendship from Iranians to Americans.
