#Iraq: Children in Fallujah collect firewood on Sunday (December 7th) to use as fuel for heating and cooking, with no electricity or other fuel available due to the US-backed regimes continuing siege on the town, which also continues to come under regular bombardment by both Iraqi regime and coalition warplanes. Fallujah is also remembered as a favourite location for the USAFs previous deployment of Depleted Uranium warheads, which continue to be used. In Iraq, as in Syria, the War on Terror continues to be an indispensably useful excuse for an internationally supported brutal sectarian regime.
