Iraq forces recapture road NE of Diyala from ISIL 20/11/14 (Night Update -09:04PM) (SJTM) Iraqi troops, backed by Shia fighters, have managed to recapture all 80 kilometers of the Imam Wais road, in the northeast of Diyala province. The Iraqi military, along with Shia and volunteer forces, has also mounted an offensive to liberate the town of Hit in Iraq’s restive western province of Anbar. The operation comes as Iraqi troops have already succeeded in freeing al-Doulab area near Hit from the ISIL Takfiri militants’ grip. PRESS TV SJTEAM
