Is (I is, as in I am) a proud Momma Hen tonight!!! NeekNeek has come into her own and is confidently off to college tomorrow! I cant describe what it does to me to see someone who was so withdrawn now smile wide and show off pics of herself while narrating I was feeling myself! Vas a con Dios chica! BUT, before I got to NeekNeek Deej aka Princess aka I wont put the other names out there gave me awesome news! She passed!!!!! When other tests tried to tear down her confidence in her academic abilities, the one that mattered the most validated how smart she is! Now she has letters behind her name, and she hasnt even started college yet! Now Im watching this old video of our Performing Arts group because the 3yr old at the beginning excitedly showed off all her back-to-school new items to me tonight while declaring shes on her way to 4th Grade (all I could think is that she has two more school years before she hits Middle School...where did the time go?)
