Is ICD-10 completely useless? Probably. Does it exist entirely so the AMA can make more money selling copies of it to everyone? Almost certainly. Will it destroy everything thats left of doctors fragile psyches? Maybe. But its so existentially horrible that it actually provides a fine bit of humor in, well, making fun of just how awful it is. And while we all love the subsequent encounter jet engine code, I think my new favorite might be struck by turtle.
