Is NIGERIA Really One? Im shocked at events taking place in Nigeria, and im forced to ask, whether this is really one Nigeria? This is a country where every issue is bought, sold and sacrificed on the altar of tribe and religion. The people from the south holds so much to christianity as if they created it, likewise our brothers from the north to islam. Anytime any issue is raised be it corruption, bad leadership, fraud, militancy, its always defended or attacked based on ethnicity and religion. An Abubakar sees nothing wrong when Ibrahim steals, but will condemn, Okon for doing same. Nigerians trivialise all issues on ethnicity. Cases like contracts, jobs, appointments are strictly based on tribe and religion. Otunba removes OKOYE and replaces him with ADEOYE, while Chief replaces ADEOYE with OKOYE, what a nation? In Anambra guber polls, candidates are campaigning on the basis of Igbo party and non Igbo party and i ask: Are parties registered in Nigeria with affiliation to tribe or religion. My brothers from the North call GEJ a failure because he is an infidel and from the south, while my friends from the South believes that GMB can never be Nigerians president because he is a muslim fanatic and from the North. I now ask Nigerian youths, is Nigeria really one and united? Should we continue under this deception of one Nigeria or should we disintegrate?
