Is #Obama trying to turn the Amerio-Liberian majority #Liberia into the 51st state of the US? 3,000 troops to fight #Ebola ? How soldiers can fight viruses? I think itd be a positive move to help develop the African-American funded former US colony into a modern country. It was originally funded by the Americans who helped the former slaves establish their own country in Africa. Despite its model of government that was inspired by the US federal system, due to political corruption, civil wars and illiteracy, the country is very poor and mostly underdeveloped. Its official language is English and even its flag is inspired by the US flag. If the country prospers and succeed, it can become a major anchor of US influence in Africa, but has a long way to go.
