Is Singing and Dancing allowed in Islam? Did Rasul (s) - TopicsExpress

Is Singing and Dancing allowed in Islam? Did Rasul (s) approve it? Wahabis say it is Bida. Tijanias say it is Halal. Wahabis demand Hadith or aya. Tijania provides the hadith justifying singing and dancing which Rasul (s) approved. Al-BUKHARI REPORTED IN HIS SAHIH IN THE BOOK OF MARRIAGE, UNDER THE CHAPTER OF BEATING THE DRUM AND SINGING DURING THE WEDDING AND THE FEAST.; BISHIR B. AL- MUAWWDH B. AFRA SAID: THE PROPHET CAME TO ME AFTER CONSUMING HIS MARRIAGE WITH ME AND SAT DOWN ON MY BED AS YOU ARE SITTING NOW, AND SMALL GIRLS WERE BEATING THE TAMBOURINE AND SINGING IN LAMENTATION OF MY FATHER WHO HAD BEEN KILLED ON THE DAY OF BATTLE OF BADR. THEN ONE OF THE GIRLS SAID, THERE IS A PROPHET AMONGS US WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TOMOROW. THE PROPHET SAID, LEAVE THIS TALK AND SAY WHAT YOU WERE SAYING. Unquote. This illustrates that she should continue with her dancing and singing of praises to admonish the contribution of the martyrs. Here we deduced that Rasul (s) did allowed dancing and singing so far as it is nothing but praising and admonition and recognizing the holy contribution of pious men of Allah for Islam.
