Is There Anybody There? I have these really terrific friends whom only I can see, My colleagues think im bonkers, and one by one they flee, But my friends are only people who walked this earthly plane, And they are only visiting, to see if alls the same, They dont wear ghostly sheets of white or wail or whoo into the night, They come as just would you or I as a friendly face just passing by, or never think that I am mad, Or I have a loosened screw, Its just that I feel nearer to god, A fact id like to share with you people, I mean all thats on this land, Would follow me into my church, Come on ill take your hand, We dont sit around in darkness, Its not even a gloomy hall, And theres no one sat there waiting for a coffee crisp to fall, Instead we join together in opening of our hearts, Sending out the power to join with friends from astral parts, Of cause we belt out songs of praise, No one like that more then me! And never let it matter if your singing out of key! We only ask that youre sincere, When you enter in and join us here you may get a message you never know! From uncle jim or auntie flo, You can always tell a spiritualist, theres something different there, I dont mean weird but wonderful, A charismatic air, We dont profess to have it, but strive to do our best, We want to be as genuine, by you and all the rest, Its not a matter of once a week or maybe even more, This joy is with you each day that comes, If only youll keep an open door, I call it joy because it is and that is how i see it, this wonderful spiritual movement of mine! Ive only just found it and it suits me fine, and all the newest of friends Ive made Have said with patience I must wait, To meet more friends from the other side, when they walk through that astral gate, I dont need valium or LSD Spiritual fulfillment the thing for me! If only youd try it, It will give you a life you may even find out youve been blessed with a gift, The best joy of all though I think would be Is for you to come back here and a spiritualist be!!
