Is Your Lifestyle Really Being Lived To Glorify Jesus Christ? Lets see... James 3:13-18, If you are wise and understand Gods ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with humility that comes from wisdom. But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, dont cover up the truth with boasting and lying. For jealousy and selfishness are not Gods kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness...... Gods wisdom is defined by Jesus Christ himself... So, to live a life reflecting Gods wisdom, and have all these godly characteristics, you must allow Jesus Christ access to your heart.. Did you hear me? YOU MUST ALLOW JESUS CHRIST ACCESS TO YOUR HEART!!! In the world we are living in today, we shake our heads at the lifestyles our youth are choosing to live-out. Our hearts ache at the lifestyles that most church goers choose to reflect in their weekly schedules... WE NEED JESUS! WE NEED JESUS! WE NEED JESUS!..... Our generation so desperately needs Jesus Christ in our everyday living! Our parents so desperately need Jesus Christ in their everyday living!..... Im so scared for our youth today.. And why? Because they have us parents as examples of so-called Christians, thats why!.... If Im a kid growing up in our world today, and my parents profess in being Christians and have been saved and baptized, and their lifestyles are full of all the sinful characteristics mentioned in this passage of Scripture, dont you think my lifestyle will soon reflect the same compromising lifestyle?... Thats why Im scared!.... Can I ask you a question? ARE YOU POSITIVE THAT YOUR LIFESTYLE IS BEING CONTROLLED BY GODS WISDOM, JESUS CHRIST? Are you sure?.... Ask someone.. Ask someone that youre around everyday, and not your best friend. Ask someone that you know doesnt like you.. See what they are seeing and hearing.... Jesus Christ must be your wisdom!! If hes not, you have no chance in making it to heaven!...... Think about that today...
