Is a cooks thing the feeling of pressing the garlic on the chopping board. Rubbing the spices and oil on the meat with love, the selection of the produce at the market and thinking of what you can cook with them. The smell of onions and spices as you care not to burn them but cook them until transparency,the just picking up ingredients with your bare hands and sparkle them over the food. Yes is an art. Is a feeling as good as any other intense feeling the adrenaline of the rush of having it served to your guess or family, the joy of seen them enjoy them. Yes is amazing. So when someone messes up with my cooking I take it personally, like a slap on my face. You can call me names proudly not naming the real thing but dont diminish my cooking. I take pride on it.
