Job Description The Health & Safety Manager will be providing leadership for all aspects of the Health & Safety Management program for this multi million dollar water / waste water project. This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of the contractors health & safety management plans, traffic safety management plans including all other relevant programs and plans. This individual will work closely with the Environmental & Social Performance Manager. The individual will be responsible for coaching and mentoring staff on site together with other stake holders. Candidate Requirements This individual will be degree qualified together with a Masters in civil engineering, chemical engineering, environmental science or related technical field. The individual will have gained at least 10 years of experience in managing and oversight for projects to comply with international health and safety standards. Report writing and training experience essential. Previous African experience advantageous.
