Is anyone going to see What We Do In the Shadows? S-press reviewer Greg Michael gave it a look, heres his review: Keep an eye out for new Kiwi comedy, What We Do In The Shadows, a very funny, very silly new mockumentary about a group of European vampires living in the suburb of Te Aro in Wellington. A small crew of filmmakers follow the lives of Viago, Vladislav and Deacon and the much older, much scarier looking 8000-year-old Petyr, as they deal with the intricacies of modern 21st century life. Despite being able to shape-shift, fly, turn into bats and hypnotise people, the lads have the same issues as the rest of us – like the fact that Deacon hasn’t done the washing up – for five years. Various dealings with humans, a very well-mannered werewolf pack and a much anticipated ball where Wellingtons post-human community (zombies, vampires and more) gather for a night out, make for frequently hilarious, mostly ridiculous blood-sucking fun. youtu.be/IAZEWtyhpes
