Day before yesterday it was published in lot of media articles that bluegape is shutting down : nextbigwhat/bluegape-shutdown-297/ Yes, we are shutting down the merchandise business completely. But we are NOT shutting down bluegape !! Why we have to shut down merchandise business. Because we have made lot of mistakes in last three years. I cant tell you everything in this single update. May be I will write a complete book one day on How not to defocus We were a team of 50+ people with offices in two cities when we had to take this call. We were profitable, crore+ revenues. Out of them, 18 people came back to me and said that they are ready to work on any pivot without salary but cant see shutting down the brand that we made with all the love, passion, hard work, tears, emotions. I know 100+ people personally who look after bluegape as a successful student startup. We just cant shut down bluegape. Heres a video that we explain our feelings at the moment.
