Is it Beneficial to Juice your Fruits and Vegetables? I have - TopicsExpress

Is it Beneficial to Juice your Fruits and Vegetables? I have been asked by my clients on multiple occasions as to whether juicing is truly a beneficial way to give the body what it needs. My answer to that it both yes and no. Juicing is a really good way for people to give themselves a blast of nutrients in a form that allows your body to take in the maximum amount. It is also a great way for those people who are not very fond of their vegetables, to mask them in a fruit based drink. However, juicing should only be done as a support to your body or on a temporary cleansing basis, and should always be done with the use of fresh fruits and vegetables. One of the greatest benefits of eating fresh fruits and vegetables is the enzymatic value that each piece has. If you are juicing and then storing for more than 2 days, unfortunately you are not getting the beneficial enzymes as they quickly deteriorate. Also, juicing should not be done on a long term basis because when you juice you are actually not ingesting the healthy insoluble fiber. This fiber is really important for a healthy digestive system, regularity, balancing blood sugars and maintaining satiety. If you are interested in giving juicing a go, try this fabulous recipe: It is a Fabulous way to get in your Vitamin C, Antioxidants and Soluble Fiber!
