Is it advisable to carry Gerry Cans of Fuel on your Caravan or the rear of your Motorhome. Queensland Transport advise that the Dangerous Goods Act, and common sense for that matter, would prohibit readily combustible materials being carried in such a manner. This means, therefore, that petrol should not be carried in Gerry Cans, for instance on a rear mounted carry bracket of a caravan or motorhome, or other dangerous place such as the front corners of a caravan which could be susceptible to accidental impact (Diesel is not a combustible material in this sense).
