Is it better to sharpen a knife you know how to use, or learn how to use a new one? An interesting phenomenon that seems to afflict CrossFit programming moreso than weightlifting or powerlifting is the tendency to change effective programs for the sake of novelty. If a particular training cycle was effective, and assuming the goals havent changed, why not use it again? Minor changes should probably be made as the coach has had another iteration of the program to learn more about its effectivity, but wholesale changes are often going to do more harm than good.
