Is it just me? Down south, we have a grocery store chain called Food Lion. They have a series of commercials with this lion roaming around suburbia extolling the virtues of discount groceries. Now, dont get me wrong, I like Food Lions discount prices, and I like lions. But, this talking lion roaming around the neighborhood just freaks me out. I mean, a lion is a dangerous animal, and when I see one kicking back on the couch while a little girl is doing finger painting in the background - it just gives me the willies. And, really, I mean whats next? Jack the Ripper selling Ginzu knives? Hannibal Lechter pushing Old Country Buffet? Freddie Krueger advertising sleeping medications?
