Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a complete societal shift in emotion?!?! I made mention to someone the other day about half a dozen women I have had recent conversations with, consistently say the same thing....Hes just too emotional or, He just wants to spend too much time together , or He is already telling me he loves me, etc. etc. This confused me at first. Then it came to me, why would this NOT BE the new trendy thing?! (Me, being the Emotional, Romantic type) I mean, I am single now, so of course women would want something completely opposite. hahahaha....I did , however, dig a little deeper with thought and opinions other than it being just sheer bad luck..... What do I blame it on?!?! Well. Other than the IM woman hear me roar movement, and the i dont need no man motivational war cry,...I blame it on....READY FOR THIS?!?! THE LACK OF RnB music!!!! NOBODY LISTENS TO RnB anymore!! Before I got married, I would not even consider dating a woman that didnt listen to RnB music... (yeah...I was misled there too...smh.) Moving on. The days of the Jodeci, Jadded Edge , 112 , R Kelly, John B, Musiq, Donell Jones, Avant, etc... they are sadly dwindled down to greatest hits collecting dust on your burnt baby makin cds from the 90s..... WHY???????? I know I sound old blaming it on music, but lets think about it...the theory of music and movies causing our actions is all sub conscious acts anyway, so we really wouldnt know regardless. Maybe its the fact that more Single (Bitter) Women are raising there daughters, and the days of endless searching for that loving , caring, affectionate, yet masculine Man, are over... because Mommy Wasnt so satisfied because she realized she actually had a role in the destruction of her own marriage/relationship!?!!! #D1SCOizms101
