Is it just me or is anybody else in Braves Country sick and tired of all of this Gattis is gonna be traded to help the Braves dump the remainder of BJ Uptons contract speculation thats been abounding recently? (And that talk seems to be in overdrive with Frank Wrens well-deserved and WAAAY overdue termination today.) Just the thought of Gattis (and Braves Country) being collateral damage for the sake of getting rid of BJ and his baggage makes me wanna puke!!! You have a guy thats making the league minimum, works his @$$ off and hits the ball unlike some of his teammates but yet could (potentially) be gone because of giving another guy an overbloated contract that needs to go? A guy, who is one of the few reasons to actually enjoy watching this team, that is all of a sudden given the shaft as a bad defensive catcher in spite of the fact that this SAME catcher was the one that made this team RELEVANT this season when so many of his fellow teammates checked out mentally. A guy that was considered to be a hero in filling in the gap left by BMacs free agent signing this past offseason is now gonna (potentially) be the sacrificial lamb for a catcher thats talented (yes), but has had a hard time showing that he can be relevant with the bat. I can see the logic behind these rumors, but still...it just goes to show you how Frank Wrens downright incompetence and ego will leave unspeakable damage of biblical proportions for Braves Country for years to come. Excuse me while I puke... WHEW...I just had to let it all out...
