Is it just me or is there a heightened sensitivity in the schools regarding illnesses/minor scratches, scrapes and such in the elementary age group? I had a disconcerting phone call from JennaBeths school nurse this morning in which she accused me of not caring properly for her. And if anyone knows me very well, I could probably come close to having the title of Helicopter Mom Queen. She had an ant bite on her arm that she had scratched a bit and it was inflamed. We treated it with triple antibiotic ointment and covered it with a band-aide. She had a reaction to the band-aide so for church yesterday and school this morning, we covered it with a 4x4 gauze pad. She hadnt been at school 30 minutes and I got the call. So I guess well go to the doctor and see if shes a neglected child
