Is it just me, or is there something not right about these au pair jobs I see advertised where the au pair is paid in the region of 10k a month and has to use HER OWN RELIABLE CAR to fetch the children from school and ferry them around to all of their activities? How on earth do you BUY a reliable car when youre earning 10k a month? And afford the service fees from driving across Joburg taking entitled children to their expensive activities? Seriously, cant these uber wealthy families buy a small reliable runaround for the au pair to use? Shaking my head in deep confusion!
