Is it possible that gravity is not just geometry; but is also a physical process. G, is used in Einsteins General Relativity; but, it is an excepted value and not an exact measurement? The measure of G is not like Pi, where greater and greater precision is achieved with better computer power. Rather, my understanding is that it flutters almost +/- 1.5% with many experiments. Is G then really a constant? The imagination here is that G is related to matter/anti-matter interactions. On earth, this involves the Neutron. Since, the amount of anti-matter that exists relative to normal matter is small, G of course is a weak force. Can the Neutron be thought of as containing a Proton, Electron and an Anti-electron (ignoring quark models)? The implication is that Neutral Hydrogen does not exert a gravitational force. Is there any experiment that proves Neutral Hydrogen exerts a gravitational force (aside from theories)? Since gravity alters the path of light, and optics claims that light always seeks the shortest path, does gravity alter distance. (If possible to think so, it is possible to imagine that we could travel to distant stars at less than light speed - just dont travel all of the distance; rather, gradually tack to your destination). Of course, could gravity be a physical process capable of altering distance? (and no, I dont smoke).
