Is it really necessary to turn Thanksgiving Day into a Black Thursday? Have you seen that retailers will begin Black Friday on Thursday? Why not just offer the great deals year round? I guess we wouldnt see them as deals then, right? What do think? Do you see it as merely corporate greed or will this be beneficial by giving more people a chance to save more on their Christmas shopping? Granted, many of the items purchased on Black Friday are not really needed, but isnt that true all of the time? If we became a nation of people that only bought what we need instead of what we want, unemployment would skyrocket and our whole economy would collapse. Lets face it, shoppers make the world go round. Whether you work in retail or not, your livelihood is impacted by retail. When products stop moving, were in big trouble. OK, I said more than I intended to; but I usually do. Back to my original point. Is it really necessary to begin Black Friday sales a day early? I dont like the fact that Betty will have to work Thanksgiving day, but she does have a good job. She works hard, comes home exhausted; but we are blessed, much to be thankful for.
