Is it really surprising that Scripture is not allowed/encouraged in our public schools? Everything taught there is immediately defied when Gods Word is spoken... Humanism states that the end of all things is the happiness of man...and happiness is getting all you can out of life. According to this thinking, there are no absolutes, so children are encouraged to express themselves and find happiness through their own, individual route (encouraged by John Dewey). If happiness is the end, and individual expression the means, then it is inevitable that cultural lawlessness immediately takes over because all men are free to do what they see fit in their own eyes. When Scripture makes it abundantly clear that there is no salvation/happiness apart from reconciliation with the Lord and He has His own, perfect standard of morality. See why the two cannot coexist?
