Is logical and mathematical intelligence overrated when compared to the other supposed eight forms of intelligence? It seems to me that scientists are consistently believed to be the most intelligent members of society, and STEM majors produce the most highly valued degrees. Why is mathematical and scientific knowledge considered by many people to be the obvious forms of intelligence? Why are they more profitable?
