You could join a gym and spend endless hours on a treadmill, or you could undertake a physical activity that has a great number of benefits: - it teaches physical and mental stamina - the student gains self-confidence - the student learns discipline - it teaches defensive skills - its fun (more fun than hour after hour on a treadmill) Its never too late to get started in martial arts. I started studying when I was 39. My wife started when she was 36. Our head instructor is in his 60s. Speaking of our instructor, he is: - Tim Cunningham, 7th-degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate - internationally recognized as a master instructor - a member of the international Isshinryu Hall of Fame - an instructor with 33-years of martial arts teaching experience in Tarboro Stop by our training hall, Cunningham Isshinryu Karate, in Lin Plaza in Tarboro (near McDonalds) any weekday evening (5:30-9:00) to discuss the details.
