Is race an issue? Do racists hate Obama just because hes Black. Do conservatives and Tea Party activists have racist hatred of Obama? Yes. Im not a cheerleader for Obama. I disagree with many of his policies on war, immigration, education, budget, etc., because I think he appeases (or agrees with) conservatives. But the conservatives and Tea Party activists hate Obama, fear and distrust him because he is African-American. On 9/25, Cokie Roberts, a Republican and journalist made the statement, “I also think — and just calling it — that some of this tea party anger is racist and that having a non-black person on the ticket will defuse it to some degree.” (MSNBC, Morning Joe) This statement was made today: I call upon all of you to wage a second American nonviolent revolution, to use civil disobedience, and to demand that this president leave town, to get up, to put the Quran down, to get up off his knees, and to figuratively come out with his hands up, said Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, a conservative political advocacy group. (CNN) The Tea Party has some serious issues of racism, even though they deny it. The still carry these signs, yet no Republicans who want Tea Party support will denounce this stuff. These repulsive images capture the ugliness of these hateful, racist, bigoted people.
