Is striking out in the attempt to find a civilized place to watch the SC/UCLA game. Four Seasons has guitar at 5 so no game. Lucky in Montecito mutes the TV The Canary Hotel isnt picking up. They must not open for Saturday brunch, just Sunday. The Press Room was one suggestion from the lady at Four Seasons who quite agreed that SB has no good sports bars. By good, I mean people over 35 who look like they shower consistently and can hold their liquor, in an establishment with clean pretty bathrooms, nice comfy barstools, and non-grungy floors. Casablanca has good food but not the vibe Im after. I may just watch the game alone on Js amazing 55-inch TV with wine and kitty cat purring by my side. Those sports bars on State Street are awful. I forget the name, but Madisons and Sharkeez not suitable for a woman of my age and tastes. SB Brewing Company and Enterprise Fish both too rowdy. I am fine with being a bar snob and to watch a ballgame, I want pleasant, not too loud, not too young, and comfortable. #barsnob
