Is teaching children they are special wrong? As a parent with many days experience, I feel there is a big difference between telling a child they are special because they are simply alive, and telling them they are special for their individual talents. My daughter is special to a handful of people, but to 7 billion other people she is not. Is it right to instill a sense of reality in order to encourage you child to achieve or should I just raise my children to feel entitled. (Maybe a rhetorical question but I would like feedback)
