Is the APC aware of this? Nature abhors vacuum. Unknown to the leaders of the Party, they have lost 30% of the entire goodwill they got from their outstanding Convention where they chose their presidential flag bearer. Their inability to seamlessly pick a running mate for General Buhari is inflicting losses on the public sympathy and momentum they attracted in the last one week. Coupled with the fact that the Party has kept mum on critical development like what is happening while the rumour mill is awash with different versions of what the issues are. If the perception that in a week, the public has been inundated with names of more that three persons as the choice only for a volte face by the Party it will point to the belief that the APC is not one house. Perception is reality. And I am persuaded to believe the leadership of the Party lacks this comprehension. If the public is continuously fed with stories of how personal interests are hindering this process, the belief of same of the same will take precedence. Nigerian politicians are still neophytes when it comes to riding momentum. And somebody should tell Bola Ahmed Tinubu to forget about his ambition to be the Vice Presidential candidate. He should be contented with his role as the Jagaban. A Buhari/Tinubu ticket is very very dead on arrival!
