Is the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, a member of the House of Representatives? If, by any remote chance, he is, did he single-handedly impeach Aminu Tambuwal as the Speaker thereof? If, as im sure, hes not a member, was Tambuwal impeached in a place where he (IGP) was the sole witness? Did he witness any court proceedings (unknown to other Nigerians) whereof it was ruled that Aminu Tambuwal is no longer the speaker of the House of Representatives? Does the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives require the prior approval of the IGP, to warrant the latter deciding whimsically when to withdraw such approval? Why hasnt the IGP done a similar thing to members of the Ondo State House of Assembly who, together with Governor Mimiko, decamped to PDP from Labour Party? Is it that his court hasnt ruled that their seats have become vacant? I expected him to be remorseful and apologetic over the misstep he took the other day at the National Assembly. Alas! hes unrepentant! I hope he remembers that one Tafa Balogun was once an IGP, an overzealous one at that!
