Is the capitalist system our solution for change? Money is a legal - TopicsExpress

Is the capitalist system our solution for change? Money is a legal tender initially created to replace metallurgical currencies such as gold, silver, and copper. The exchange of these prescious metals was to damaging to the economical growth of America. Paper currency was created for exchange to be backed by gold, then silver, and finally in 1961 the promisary note was created backed by nothing but a promise to pay. A word that have proven to be nothing but a lie. Inflation drove up value because of federal debts to other countries such as China. Today we as black people consume over 1.1 trillion dollars annualy to other peoples coffers. We are assimilated in the philosophy of spending. Our own so called black investors have failed to produce a financial backbone that would give us a secure foumdation on the international forum of commerce and trade. Those of us who enjoy individual financial success do not demonstrate the willingness to assist in developing black financial institutions or international trade corporations. Fifty million black people to raise forty billion dollars. Can it be done. Probably. But will we benefit from it? Oprah builds for Africa but wont help African Americans. We are always asked to donate but no one donate to our cause. WHY???? Because we do not help self. We are all about our individual selfish desires. Trust is an issue because deception has always been the factor. Not since Marcus Garvey and Black Wall Street have there been a proactive plan of economic action among us and even then the Black Boule helped his massah dismantle those visions. Not since Elijah Muhammad have we witnessed success in black communities. It is our resonsibility to be first proactive with our individual selves. Each one be strong and then come together, but for now lets us not prey on the weak.
