Is the open source revolution the key? This is one of the most optimistic articles Ive seen in quite some time... I cant say I know much about Robert David Steele, except that Ive seen his name on Amazon reviews and associated with open source technology. He believes that our present situation, dominated by hierarchy, secrecy, & predatory, top-down power systems, has run its course. It will be replaced, one way or another by a system characterized by information sharing amidst demands for, & fulfillment of, transparency. Im not sure I get what hes driving at, but his use of phrases like open source methods to transform the craft of intelligence & his use of a whole systems approach suggest that its worth the time to find out!
