The Facilities Coordinator will receive Researcher Applications and construct a schedule of visiting researchers in our housing and labs. This person also helps organize visiting conferences and field trips. The position requires extensive use of basic computer applications including email, word processing and spreadsheets. In addition to the Facilities Coordinator tasks, the successful candidate will assist the FHL Director with administrative tasks, handle merchandise sales, assist with some payroll tasks, and handle reception duties. REQUIREMENTS: • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in event or facilities management programs (program specialty) OR equivalent education/experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • High quality oral and written communication skills are required. • This person interfaces with a large number of clients and strong interpersonal skills are required. • This position involves regular interruptions due to its customer-centered orientation. Thus, it is important that the candidate be able to multi-task effectively and cheerfully.
